NMALTF Official Release Date, and a Sneak Peek! Free Bonus Comic!

Hi Everyone,

We're definitely due for an update, so here goes! 

Mercy Sparx: No More Angels Left to Fall is officially going to be released in November. I know this has taken a lot longer to produce than I initially intended, but  you can look forward to getting your comic then!

While I'm really glad to take on this challenge - and to draw Mercy Sparx's interiors for the first time ever, I have to cop to drawing a book completely myself has been, whew, a bit much - not the drawing part, but doing so in between running the publishing, convention travels, client management, yadda yadda and on and on. And of course, writing it too.  

To help me speed things up the wonderful Travis Hymel has joined to help me on backgrounds for the last half of the book! This has been a huge help.  We're chucking along again, and I just wanted to share.

We have some other exciting news for you all as well.  

 Every physical backer of Mercy Sparx: No More Angels Left to Fall will also receive a copy of the Mercy Sparx: Oh Sh*t She's Back Special with their order. 

This is a special promo edition we're printing for the comic book shops to help increase awareness to the masses that Mercy is making her return! So it's only fair that you get a copy as a thanks for helping us out. These will ship later with your normal comics.

Mercy Sparx in the Making

Hi All! 

We wanted to send out an update on letting you all know where things are at.

In terms of release date, Mercy Sparx: No More Angels Left to Fall will not be released in either April or May, but rest assured, our team is working at a steady pace, and making good progress.  All of the pages are laid out! Line art and colors are in the works.

Though you may not see the final product for a bit yet, we still want to share a sneak peek of what we have so far with you!

Hey eveyrone! 

It's your favorite Mercy-Maker here, Josh B, with a little update on the comic as we're heading into the weekend (one in which I look forward to sneaking in some more drawing time). 

MINOR SPOILERS BELOW - So if you don't want to know anything about the story, you might want to avoid the art previews. 

This being the first comic I've drawn in quite a long time, it's definitely taking me a bit longer than I'd like, in between juggling the publishing and business side of Devil's Due, marketing, writing, etc. But things are coming along nicely, and new colorist Alyssa Eleftheriou's colors on my lines are coming out beautifully. 

I'm having a shit ton of fun drawing and writing this one, and I hope it shows! 

We've already started the process of hyping this up to the retailers too, unveiling a preview at the big ComicsPro Retailer Summit last month. That's over 150 of some of the top tier comic shops now in the loop on the new material coming. 

We've also begun sending several of the rewards into production. Shirts, hoodies, bottle openers, METAL covers, and more.
